Learning Dispositions

Learning Disposition Survey Results

Learning Dispositions is one of three major categories for defining whole child student success.  Learning Dispositions refer to the skills and qualities an individual has developed to be a successful student and contributing citizen. In BV Schools, these are defined through our Learner Profile and known as the 7 C’s (being curious, creative, connected, critically competent, constructive, collaborative and character-centered). The District monitors the growth of these Dispositions through surveys, participation in activities, attendance, and discipline. These measures provide a picture of student engagement in learning and the school experience.
